Executive Vice President of Development

Jake Strickland leads development strategy and execution across Mallory & Evans Development's Multifamily, Student Housing, and Mixed-Use platforms, overseeing projects from initial sourcing and capitalization through design, construction, and delivery. His responsibilities include sourcing new development opportunities, structuring and raising capital, managing the firm's active development pipeline, and guiding market strategy and investment evaluation in alignment with the company's long-term growth objectives.

Since joining Mallory & Evans, Jake has played a leadership role in the execution of large-scale residential and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast, with a focus on placemaking, walkable community design, and evolving housing trends. He graduated with honors from East Carolina University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design and a minor in Business Administration.
